I've recently built a new PC with the following specs: GeForce RTX 5060, 16GB of RAM, an i5-12700K, a 1TB M.2 SSD, a 500GB SSD, and a 125GB SATA drive, all powered by a 450W PSU. I'm experiencing a lot of issues with cold booting—often having to cycle the power 5-10 times before my monitor, keyboard, and mouse turn on. Has anyone else faced this problem?

Your PSU is definitely undersized for your build. The minimum recommended is 550W for the 8GB version, but ideally, you want around 650W to handle those power spikes safely. If you can, go for a decent 750W supply to ensure stability.
Yeah, 450W is too low for your GPU. If you can't upgrade right now, consider safely undervolting your GPU to avoid issues. Better yet, make sure to upgrade when you can.
What motherboard are you using, and are you on DDR5? To speed up your boot time with Intel's DDR5, you can enable Memory Context Restore (or "MRC Fast Boot") in the BIOS. Also, make sure your BIOS is updated to the latest version.
Remember that the Alder Lake memory controller defaults to Gear 1 mode for DDR4, which can cause issues with XMP settings above 3200. Also, keep an eye on your power supply as it mainly powers components via the 12V rail.

I had a feeling about that. I just ordered a MSI MAG A750BE. Fingers crossed this fixes my issues!
