Troubleshooting Glitchy Visuals and Blue Screen Issues

Hey everyone! I just came back from vacation and when I booted up my PC, the visuals were all choppy and glitchy. Shortly after, I got a blue screen error and couldn't boot into Windows at all. I ended up installing Windows 11 from a USB, and it worked for a minute but then the issues popped up again. I'm starting to think it might be a hardware problem, possibly related to the hard drive. Any advice on what I should check? Here's a video showing the problems I'm experiencing: https://youtube.com/shorts/6kKXLriWt4U?si=sRr8BxJUGozBZS7v

You might want to run some diagnostics on your hard drive using commands like chkdsk or wmic to see if it’s failing. The glitchy visuals could also mean your GPU is having issues. If there's any weird behavior after commands, it definitely points to some hardware malfunction.

That sounds about right! I had similar symptoms, and it turned out to be my GPU crashing. Just got to keep an eye on it!

To get a clearer picture of what's causing the blue screen, you’ll want to find and share those dump files. If you can access Windows safely or through Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any files there. Just zip them up and upload them to a file sharing site like catbox.moe. Having multiple dumps for analysis is super helpful! Here’s a guide on how to set up the dump type if you need it: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5560-configure-windows-10-create-minidump-bsod.html

Thanks for the tip! I’ll check for those dump files. Hopefully, they help pinpoint the issue.
