I'm having trouble connecting my laptop to my TV using an HDMI cable. Whenever I connect it, the TV dims, and I can't seem to find a solution. I've tried different HDMI cables and checked all the settings on both the laptop and the TV, but nothing has worked so far. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you considered using a DisplayPort to HDMI converter? That's how I have my PC set up with my TV, and it works perfectly without any dimming issues.
