Troubleshooting MemTest86 Errors After Upgrading My GPU

I recently upgraded my GPU in my desktop and installed Windows 11, but I'm running into multiple issues. I've been experiencing a bunch of BSODs, primarily MEMORY_MANAGEMENT errors, along with some random PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and BAD_POOL_CALLER errors. After troubleshooting various smaller issues, I used MemTest86 to check my RAM. I have two 16GB sticks of DDR4 RAM, and when I ran the tests, I immediately got errors. I tested each stick individually in all motherboard slots and the errors persisted every time. The tests seemed to generate consistent results, and after letting them run for as long as possible, I guess I hit the max errors and failed out of MemTest86. I can't attach the test result images here, but I'd love to hear any ideas on what might be causing this. Could it be the CPU's memory manager that's at fault? Just for reference, I'm using an AMD Ryzen 9 3900x 12-core CPU and 2x G Skill DDR4 F4-3600 RAM.

It might be worth trying to run your RAM at the safest JEDEC timings, around 2133 to 2600 MT/s. I had a similar issue where my games froze, and I had to downclock from 3200 MT/s to 3000 MT/s to stabilize everything. It worked for a bit, but eventually, I had to get a new set of RAM. Definitely try it and see if it helps your situation.

You'll want to check for dump files for better analysis on those BSODs. If you can boot into Windows or Safe Mode, head to C:WindowsMinidump and look for any dump files. You can zip them and upload them to a user-friendly file sharing site like catbox.moe. Having multiple dump files makes troubleshooting way easier, so even if you have just one, upload it. If you can, testing with a new set of RAM sticks could help narrow down the issue. It's possible that both of your current sticks have failed, which can sometimes happen. Start with one new stick and run MemTest86 again.
