Troubleshooting “No Signal Detected” on a New PC Build

I'm putting together a new PC and everything powers on fine: all the fans are spinning, and my monitor recognizes the HDMI port, but it shows 'no signal detected.' I've double-checked that my graphics card is seated properly and I'm using a reliable HDMI cable. The connection is going into the GPU, not the motherboard. What other steps can I take to resolve this issue? Just to mention, I am hearing a boot sound from the motherboard. Here's my build list: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X CPU, MSI MAG CORELIQUID A15 cooler, Asus B650E MAX motherboard, Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB RAM, Seagate BarraCuda 4TB HDD, Gigabyte RTX 4060 GPU, Fractal Design North XL case, and MSI 1000W power supply.

Another thing to check is whether your GPU is connected to the power supply. Some graphics cards need an 8-pin power connector to function correctly, and I totally forgot about that while building my last PC and faced similar issues.

Good point! Does it matter which connector I use on the power supply? I see the GPU fan is running, so it seems to have some power.

Have you checked if your motherboard has any red diagnostic lights? If so, they usually indicate errors. Make a note of any letters next to those lights to help identify the issue.

I didn't notice any lights, but I'm not even sure where to look for them. They aren't detailed in the manual, just mentioned as 'Q-led Core' in the features.
