I've been trying to enable XMP/PODC on my 16GB Corsair DDR4 RAM, but I keep running into blue screens (specifically a kernel system check failure). I've run memtest for 3 hours and it passed all 4 tests with no errors, so I'm not sure what the issue is. My motherboard supports XMP, and I have a decent PSU, so I'm a bit stumped. Here's my setup:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB SL 8x2 GB 3200MHz (currently runs at 2133MHz without XMP)
- Motherboard: ASUS B450-m II
- PSU: Corsair RM650 80 Plus Gold

It would help to gather dump files to accurately analyze the BSOD. If you can access Windows normally, or even through Safe Mode, check for any dump files in C:WindowsMinidump. If you find any, zip them up and upload them to a file-sharing site. A few files would be better for analysis, so make sure to check out the guide for configuring small memory dumps if you haven’t already.
I've experienced fewer stability issues by manually setting the RAM timings instead of relying solely on XMP. You should be able to find the exact timings for your RAM on the product specifications page. Additionally, it might be worth giving a slight bump to the RAM voltage on your motherboard to help with stability.
