I recently upgraded my PC's RAM from 2x 8GB DDR4 3200MHz to 2x 32GB DDR4 3200MHz. Now, I'm experiencing more crashes than before, including a blue screen reboot. I made sure the new RAM is compatible with my motherboard, but I still have the old 8GB sticks installed, bringing my total to 80GB. I'm wondering if I should remove the old RAM sticks to fix these issues.

Not only should you remove the old RAM, but consider putting the new RAM in the slots where the old ones were. It might help with stability too!
For sure, pull out those 8GB sticks! It's possible your CPU only supports up to 64GB of RAM, so that could be the cause of your crashes too.
You should definitely remove the old 8GB sticks. Often, mismatched RAM can lead to instability, and that might be what's causing your crashes. It's generally best to run RAM sticks in pairs that match, especially since you have a lot of memory now.
Yeah, a total of 64GB is usually plenty for gaming. It's good you are checking this before jumping into a bigger setup!
Thanks for confirming! I was a bit nervous about messing with the RAM, but I guess it’s necessary.
Appreciate it! I’ll get on it right away.
