I'm currently using a 1660 Ti, which has been serving me decently, but I want to upgrade to an RTX card for better gaming performance, especially for playing games like the new Indiana Jones. My budget is around $450. Any suggestions?

Honestly, if you're on a tight budget, go for a used RTX 3080. You can find those for about $350-$400 and they deliver excellent frame rates and performance across the board.

You definitely want to check on your motherboard and CPU too! I noticed you mentioned having an i7-6700k, which is starting to age. If you upgrade your GPU, just make sure your setup can handle the new card effectively for the best experience.

Good point, an upgrade might be necessary if you want to get the most out of that new GPU.

If you're looking to stick within your budget, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is a solid option, typically priced around $480-$500. If you're open to buying used, you might find a previous-gen card like the 4060 8GB for under $450. Also, don’t feel stuck on NVIDIA; AMD's 9060 XT 16GB is also a great pick and should be well under $400. Just something to keep in mind: make sure your other components, like your CPU, are up to par to avoid bottlenecks!

Yeah, the 9060 XT offers great value, especially performance per dollar!

I would suggest the RX 9060 XT 16GB for your budget. It has impressive capabilities and lets you skip on the RTX entirely for now.
