I'm planning to upgrade my graphics card from an RTX 3060 to the ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 OC Edition, but I'm still using my Intel i5-12600K CPU. Is this going to create a bottleneck? I'm pretty new to all of this and want to know if I need to consider upgrading any other parts as well.

Nope, there won't be any bottleneck with that combo. You were already experiencing GPU bottlenecking with your old card, so upgrading to the 4070 is a great move to balance things out. If everything is set up right, you won’t have to worry about CPU limits on future upgrades.
There's no straightforward answer to whether your CPU will bottleneck your GPU. It really depends on the game you’re playing, the resolution, and your monitor's refresh rate. But generally speaking, anything from Intel's 11th gen or newer shouldn't bottleneck your GPU unless you're trying to hit extremely high frame rates on 1080p.
You shouldn't have any problems with that setup! I'm running a 4070 Ti and an Intel 12700F at 1440p ultrawide, and my GPU is the main limiting factor in most games. Many gamers overestimate the importance of high-end CPUs for gaming. As long as you're gaming at 1440p, you’re good to go!
For 1440p gaming, you’ll be fine. However, at 1080p, there might be some minor bottlenecking, but it shouldn't affect your experience too much.
