Hey everyone! I recently upgraded to an RX 7800 XT to enjoy gaming, especially CS2, at over 240fps on my monitor. I did see some improvement compared to my old RTX 3060, but I still dip below 240fps during intense 5v5 matches. I'm wondering if my CPU is bottlenecking the GPU. I've been considering switching to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D for better performance, especially since the 5800X3D is pricier. What do you all think? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Upgrading to those CPUs can make a difference, but whether it's worth it depends on how much you can get a 5700X3D or 5800X3D for in your area. If they're pricey, it might be better to consider a whole new setup with a newer motherboard and RAM instead. The 7600X has been shown to be around 4% faster than the 5800X3D on average, and performs better in CS. Plus, switching to an AM5 chip like the 7000 series would give you a more future-proof upgrade.
Got it! I'm mainly looking for a quick boost in FPS, so I was hoping just upgrading the CPU would help.
