Hey everyone! I just won a Gigabyte Gaming OC 5090 in a raffle and I'm looking to upgrade the rest of my gaming setup. I've got a budget of around $1,500 to $2,000. Currently, I'm using an NZXT H510 case, which might fit the new GPU, but I'm open to upgrading if necessary.
I need pretty much everything else for my build, and I'm considering a 1440p 240Hz monitor as part of that budget. I mainly play shooters, and while I don't think I'd need a 4K setup, I'm open to thoughts on it. I found a bundle at Microcenter that includes an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X for $599, but I'm wondering if it's the best option or if I should look at something else, like a 7800X3D or 9800X3D. Also, I know I'll need a new PSU.
Thanks for the help!

If you're sticking that powerful 5090 in your system, you might want to consider upgrading your case for better airflow. The H510 isn't the best for cooling, especially with such a beefy GPU. Also, since you're mainly gaming, I’d suggest looking at the 7800X3D or 9800X3D instead of the 9950X; they really shine in gaming performance!
Just to add, the 9800X3D really offers better gaming performance. You’ll definitely notice it in FPS games. Check out some reviews on it!
If your primary use is gaming, I’d go with the 7800X3D bundle instead of the 9950X. You’d save some cash and still get excellent performance. The 9800X3D is great if you want to future-proof your setup, but make sure it fits within your budget!
I'm mostly gaming too, but I'm considering the 9800X3D, as it might be worth the extra investment for longevity.
Yeah, that case with the solid front could limit airflow. Upgrading could really help with cooling! And totally agreed about the CPU choice for gaming.
