I'm looking to upgrade my gaming PC since it's been nearly five years since my last setup. I play a variety of games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Cities Skylines, and I also enjoy watching live sports and YouTube on a second monitor. My budget for the upgrades is about £800, including a new monitor, but I could stretch that to £1,000 if necessary. Here's my current setup:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Six Core (3.7GHz-4.6GHz, 35MB CACHE, AM4)
- **Motherboard:** ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s)
- **RAM:** 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 16GB)
- **GPU:** 6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2060
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you're considering the 9070 series, definitely go with the 9070XT, as it’s roughly 10% faster than the regular 9070. Just make sure to check your PSU wattage; the 9070 needs about 220W, but the 9070XT requires around 304W. You might need to upgrade your power supply if it can't handle that.
For graphics card upgrades, I'd recommend looking into the 9070XT or the 5070Ti. The 9070XT tends to offer great value for the performance. If you're also in the market for a new monitor, check out the MSI MAG 275QF; it's a solid choice!
Yeah, the 4070 Ti Super is actually starting to hit your price range too. It could be worth considering for the extra VRAM. I've got a 3070, and Cities Skylines can get pretty choppy with all the mods.
Honestly, the prices lately are insane. If possible, consider selling your existing parts as they could fetch a nice amount and potentially wait another year for better options. Especially with CPU prices fluctuating.

Also, current prices are really inflated. If you can, hold off and sell your old components for a decent price. Who knows, with the upcoming Intel CPUs, we might see some better pricing on everything!
