Upgrading My Motherboard, CPU, and RAM—Need Recommendations!

Hey everyone! My motherboard has gone kaput, so I'm planning to replace it and while I'm at it, I decided to upgrade my CPU and RAM as well. I've already picked a CPU and motherboard using PC Part Picker, but I'm really looking for suggestions on RAM and a CPU cooler, aiming for a total cost under $1000. I've included my GPU, a RADEON 5700XT, to ensure everything is compatible. If you think I need to consider any other components, let me know! Here's my list: [PC Part Picker Link](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/m6NnRV)

I’d go for the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 for a CPU cooler; it’s priced around $37. For RAM, I’d suggest the Corsair Vengeance. A 32GB kit should run you about $110. Good luck with your build!

Honestly, don't spend that much on the 3700X; the 5700X is similar in price. If you're going AM4, you can grab a B550 motherboard for around $115, but I’d recommend bumping up to DDR5 RAM with an AM5 CPU if you can swing it. It’s worth it!

Why did you choose the Ryzen 3700x? It’s a bit pricey compared to the 5800X, which is only $219 right now. I’d recommend looking at AM5 instead of AM4 since it’s more future-proof. Here’s my list for reference: [PC Part Picker Link](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/h3BDRV).

No particular reason, I just went with what fit my budget. I might consider switching to your suggestions. Thanks for the tip!
