Upgrading My PC: Do I Have Everything Covered?

I'm upgrading my prebuilt PC for the first time and I want to make sure I haven't overlooked anything important. My current setup includes an Intel Core i5-14400F, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050, 16GB of TOUGHRAM RGB DDR4 RAM, and a 600W 80PLUS Gold Power Supply, among other specs. My plan is to upgrade to an RTX 4080 Super GPU and a Thermaltake Toughpower GT 1000W Power Supply to support the new GPU. I'm also adding two more sticks of RAM of the same model to total 32GB. My main concerns are whether the new components will fit, if I need to upgrade cooling, and if there's anything technically I should consider. The tutorials I found mostly covered physical installation, but I want to ensure I'm fully prepared.

From what it looks like, everything should fit in your case just fine! The GPU clearance is sufficient, and your power supply will have no problem fitting either. Just keep in mind that using four RAM sticks may cause some stability issues at higher frequencies. You might need to tweak the settings a bit to get everything running smoothly. And regarding cooling, since the new components are indeed more efficient, you might find they run cooler than your current setup. Just keep an eye on your temperatures post-install.

It's crucial to check the dimensions of your new GPU. Different models have varying sizes, and while your current GPU is around 220mm, the RTX 4080 is about 310mm. Since your case can accommodate up to 330mm without a radiator, you should be good! Just ensure your PSU clearance is also adequate, which it seems to be at 150mm for your planned PSU. Just a heads up about using 4 sticks of RAM—you might encounter stability issues at full speed, so lowering the clock speed manually could be necessary. Just double-check the GPU connector isn't bent significantly when you install it.
