Upgrading My PC for Better GPU Performance: Is It Worth It Now?

I recently had to replace my RX 6800 XT with an RX 9070 XT, but I'm still on the AM4 platform with a Ryzen 5 5600X and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. I feel like my new GPU isn't performing to its full potential. I'm considering an upgrade for the rest of my build, including everything but the GPU, and even the case. I've seen some posts about price hikes lately, so I'm wondering if now is a good time to upgrade or if I should wait a few months. Currently, I'm gaming at 1440p and I'm satisfied with the performance, although it could definitely be better for some games. Also, since I'm in Serbia, I'm curious if upgrading now is worth it, or if my Ryzen 5 5600X is still sufficient for the time being.

Unless you can score a cheap used 5000X3D CPU, the best upgrade path might be to go for a new AM5 CPU along with a motherboard and RAM setup. It's a whole new platform, but it's likely to maximize your GPU's potential better than sticking with AM4 for now.

That’s definitely the plan for me too! Just trying to figure out the timing and what components to grab.
