Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my PC primarily for 1080p gaming at high settings as well as engineering tasks like CAD and SolidWorks. Here's what I've currently got:

- **Current setup:** Ryzen 5 1600 AF, GT 1030, B450M PRO-VDH Max, 16GB DDR4 3200 CL16 RAM, 650W Plus Bronze V2 PSU, H-212 cooler, and a Nox Hummer MC Pro ARGB USB 3.0 case.
- **What I plan to keep:** My RAM, PSU, case, and cooler (since they're AM4 compatible).

**Considering these upgrades (prices in Spain):**
- **CPU options:** Ryzen 5 5600X (~129€) or Ryzen 5 5700X (~156€), with the 5700X3D being ~248€.
- **GPU options:** RX 6600 (~224€), 6600 XT (~240€), 6650 XT (~241€), and RX 7600 (~251€).
- **Total budget:** Around 400€ for a CPU and GPU.

**My questions are:**
1. Is pairing the 5700X with the RX 6650 XT a solid choice for my needs, or should I save some cash and get the 5600X instead?
2. Is the RX 7600 worth the extra 10€ compared to the 6650 XT?
3. Do you think I should go for the 5700X3D if gaming performance is my main focus?

I really want to make sure I'm getting the best bang for my buck with this upgrade and plan to enjoy some newer games over the next 5-6 years. Thanks for your input!

Honestly, if you’re considering an upgrade, going for the 5700X paired with the RX 7600 seems like the best way to go. The 5800X3D is excellent but you're right, it’s on the pricier side. The prices for GPUs are decent right now, and the performance boost you’d get would be worth the investment in the long run.

I hear you on the hesitations with reselling PC parts! I’d prefer to just upgrade too. Do you think the RX 7600 offers a significant performance boost over the 6650 XT, especially considering power consumption and cooling?
