Hey everyone, I recently purchased a prebuilt computer from Costco, and I'm considering upgrading the SSD. Before I physically disconnect and replace it, are there any important steps or precautions I should take into account?

If the SSD you're replacing is used for the operating system, I would recommend cloning it using software like Macrium Reflect. This way, you can easily swap it and set it as the boot drive in the BIOS—it’s the easiest approach!
If your computer is relatively new and has an M.2 drive, you might have the option to add another SSD in a spare slot if available, without needing to remove the old one.
Are you referring to an SSD drive, or is it something else like an SD card for cameras? Just wanted to clarify since SSDs and SD cards have different installation processes.
I mean the SSD on the motherboard.
What kind of SSD does your PC currently have, and what are you thinking of replacing it with? It could help to know more about the specs.
I'm looking at switching from a 1TB AGI SSD to an 8TB Western Digital.

That’s exactly what I was wondering! Do you have any video links that can guide me through that process?
