I need some serious help here! I have a B450M Steel Legend motherboard and was previously using a single stick of Asgard 8GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM. Today, I upgraded to two new Corsair Vengeance LPX sticks (2x16GB, also DDR4 3600MHz). I installed them in the second and fourth slots (A2 and B2), but now my PC powers on without displaying anything. It runs for about 40 seconds, then starts a power cycle—turning off and on repeatedly. I even tried putting the original RAM back in, but I'm still facing the same issue. Did I mess up the installation? I'm really at a loss here! 😢

I recommend removing the RAM entirely, clearing the CMOS, then reinstalling it. If it still doesn't work, consider returning the Corsair RAM for a different brand altogether.
It sounds like your PC might just need some time for memory training. Seriously, try walking away for a bit and let it do its thing. It can be quite worrying if you’re not familiar with it, but it could just need a moment!
Should I leave both sticks in while it's training, or just one? Want to make sure I'm on the right track!
Yep! This is probably the case. Just give it some time. You might be surprised how often this works!

How exactly do I clear the CMOS?
