Upgrading RAM Causing Boot Issues – Help!

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a crisis with my PC. I have a B450M Steel Legend motherboard and was using a single stick of Asgard 8GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM. Today, I decided to upgrade to two new Corsair Vengeance LPX sticks (2x16GB, also DDR4 3600MHz). I installed them in the second and fourth slots (A2 and B2), but now my PC powers on and there's no display. It leads to this cycle where it stays on for about 40 seconds, then turns off and restarts continuously. I tried putting my old RAM back in, but it's doing the same thing. Did I mess something up? I'm really at a loss here!

If it's still acting up, try removing the RAM completely, clear the CMOS, and then put the RAM back in. If that still doesn't work, you might need to return the Corsair RAM and look for a different brand that’s compatible.

How exactly do I clear the CMOS?

Sometimes when you install new RAM, it can do what's called 'memory training.' Basically, it needs some time to recognize the new components, so just walk away from your PC for a bit and give it a chance to figure itself out. It can be a little alarming if you're not familiar with this process!

Yeah, that's definitely the case! Just leave it for a few minutes, and hopefully, it'll settle down.

Should I leave both sticks in for the memory training, or just one? I want to make sure I do this right.
