Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my Acer Nitro 50 with a new SSD in the M.2 slot, but I'm facing an issue. When I turn on my PC, it shows a 'Boot Device Not Found' error. I'm a bit lost here—do I need to install Windows on the new SSD to make it work, or is there another step I'm missing? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

To put your old SSD back in along with your new one could work, then you can boot from the old SSD and install your OS onto the new one. Just ensure your BIOS recognizes both drives.
Just a heads up, you'll need to install an operating system like Windows or Linux on your new SSD to use it as a boot drive. The 'Boot Device Not Found' message means your PC can’t find an OS to start from.
Did you swap out the original SSD? If you removed it to replace with the new one, you'll need to install Windows on the new drive to boot from it. It's just a blank storage device until you do.
Are you planning to use the SSD as your main drive for the operating system? If so, that's likely your issue since drives come blank and need an OS installed to boot from them.
