Hey everyone! I just upgraded from an RTX 2060 to an RTX 3080, but I'm not getting any display. I used the 6+2 PSU cables—one is a daisy chain and the other is a direct connection. My power supply is 750W, so it should handle the new card. I can confirm the card itself works fine. Can anyone help me figure this out? Just to clarify, the GPU's RGB lights and fans are functioning, and my keyboard and mouse are on. When I switch back to the 2060, I do get a display. Thanks!

First off, it's good that your old GPU still gives a display. Just make sure each 8-pin cable is dedicated and not shared. Also, double-check that the new GPU is seated properly in the slot. If the system powers on but you still have no display, ensure that your monitor is connected to the new GPU and not back to the old one. You might want to share a picture of your setup for better insights!
One thing I’d recommend is to avoid using a daisy chain for the 3080, as it has a 320W TDP. It’s best to use two separate 6+2 pin connectors instead of one with a daisy chain. Just a heads up!
Got it, I will try that! My PSU has only two 6+2 connectors, and one of them does have a daisy chain.

I can confirm that it’s seated correctly since both the fans and RGB are lit up. Monitor is plugged into both GPUs as well.
