Upgrading to PC gaming: What specs do I need for 5120×1440 resolution?

I've been a console gamer my entire life, but I'm now considering making the switch to PC gaming. I'm seeing mixed reviews and feeling a bit uncertain about my choice. Currently, I'm interested in the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and the Radeon 9070XT, but they seem to be out of my budget. Can anyone suggest hardware that would perform well at 1440p with 120 fps, considering that I'm new to this? I could really use some advice and opinions.

If you're struggling with budget, consider using upscaling tech like NVIDIA's DLSS or AMD's FSR. They let you play at lower resolutions and then upscale to 1440p, which helps maintain frame rates without needing top-tier hardware. Also, at 1440p, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D might be overkill, especially if your GPU is the limiting factor at higher resolutions. You could save some cash there!

I have a 5080 with frame generation, and I'm getting over 200 fps at 1440p with no noticeable delay!
