Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my Apple devices, specifically the ones that use USB-C. It all started with my old MacBook Pro, where the USB-C ports began to fail one by one. I think this might have also damaged my charger. While charging with MagSafe works fine on the MacBook, I had to replace the charger because it broke due to the Mac. I found a new one that worked for about a week, but then it stopped working too. Now, even the MagSafe isn't charging properly unless the MacBook is completely shut down, and then it's only at 15W. At first, I thought it was just bad luck, but now my iPad's USB-C ports are failing too! I'm really frustrated since I need my iPad for work, and it's out of warranty. I'm trying to figure out what might be causing all these issues to prevent it from happening again. Any ideas? Here are my specs: Old MacBook: MacBook Pro M2, New MacBook: MacBook Pro M3 Max, Charger: Original charger and UGreen Nexode 140W, USB-C cable from UGreen.

It sounds like your issues might be tied to the charger you're using. When multiple devices show similar failures, it's often a sign that the charger could be the problem. I recommend trying the original charger that came with your devices or a different reliable brand, as sometimes third-party chargers can have defects. I personally use a Belkin charger and have had no issues. Just be sure to stop using the UGreen charger for now; even if they are usually good, yours might be faulty.
Thanks for the suggestion! I did switch out the charger already, though. The new one is the same model but different from the one that broke.
