I recently got my hands on an MSI 1080 Ti for reselling, and now I'm facing a VGA error on my test bench. My setup includes a B550A-Pro motherboard, Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, 16GB of RAM (2 sticks), and a 650W PSU. I checked everything; my Asus Turbo 2070 GPU works perfectly fine, but with the 1080 Ti, the lights are on, fans aren't spinning, and I get no display, while the VGA LED on the motherboard is lit up.
I've tried switching the RAM, clearing the CMOS, updating the BIOS, and using different PCIe cables. Do you think the GPU is dead, or is there something else I can try?

It sounds like the card might be malfunctioning. Make sure it’s seated properly in the PCIe slot. If it still doesn't work and you've tested another GPU that functions fine in the same setup, it's likely that the 1080 Ti is defective. You might want to open it up and check for any obvious damage, but it sounds like it's a tough situation regardless.
I really hope it's something fixable! The seller claimed it's in great condition, and it looks good as new, so maybe there's another trick up your sleeve. I’d suggest building a different PC to test it there; you never know, it might work!
