Hey everyone, I recently built a new gaming PC using an AMD 9070XT, but I'm experiencing terrible lag while playing Warzone – it feels like I'm getting only 1 frame every 2 or 3 seconds. I'm pretty new to AMD graphics and I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting. I've tried adjusting a lot of in-game settings, but nothing seems to improve the frame rate. What steps can I take to fix this?

I had a similar issue before, and I finally solved it. Try disabling fTPM 2.0 in your BIOS; that fixed the stuttering for me. After that, I also had random crashes, but setting my PCIe lane to 4.0 and lowering my GPU clock helped a lot. I adjusted it to -450 MHz and reduced the power limit, and now it's working perfectly!
Could you share your complete component list? It helps in diagnosing the issue better!
Have you tried reinstalling Windows from scratch? Also, make sure all the latest official drivers are installed and that your BIOS is updated to the latest version. Sometimes that can make a big difference!
First off, make sure you've plugged your monitor into the GPU and not the motherboard. Also, have you installed the latest drivers? That's really important for performance!
I used a DP cable into the GPU and have an HDMI 2.1 connected too, but I've set my monitor to DP. I also did a fresh driver install from both Gigabyte and AMD.
Sure! I'm using:
- Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite WiFi 7
- AMD 9800X3D
- Sapphire Nitro+ 9070XT
- Corsair 32GB CL30 6000MHz
