I've been having some frustrating issues with my WASD keys lately while gaming. It seems like in games like Minecraft, Repo, and Fortnite, the keys sometimes cause my character to drift in the direction I pressed even when I'm not touching the key anymore. I talked to a friend about it, and they suggested there might be dirt under my keyboard. However, I've also noticed that when I try to jump or change direction, the game waits until I stop drifting to respond. Sometimes, if I pause the game and come back, it can take a second to register my key press. Could this be a lag issue rather than just a keyboard problem? What can I do to fix it?

It sounds like your keyboard might need a good cleaning! If it's a mechanical keyboard, try removing the keycap and using about 90% isopropyl alcohol. For a rubber dome keyboard, stick with around 50%. Use Q-tips soaked in the alcohol and press them against the key, then mash it a few times to help the cleaner seep in. If it still sticks after that, you may need to do it again. Trust me, this helped a lot when I had a sticky key from a spill in the past!
I get that! It's odd that it doesn't stick all the time, though. Sounds like it might also be a delay issue from the input lag rather than just dirt.
