WD Blue SN550 NVMe Not Detected After Windows 11 Upgrade

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my WD Blue SN550 NVMe drive. It worked perfectly fine on Windows 10, but since I upgraded to Windows 11, it doesn't show up at all. I can see it in the BIOS, but it's missing from both the Device Manager and Disk Management.

I've checked a few BIOS settings: the SATA mode is set to AHCI, secure boot is disabled, and fast boot is off. I've heard some NVMe drives have compatibility problems with Windows 11, but my model isn't listed as affected. I also made sure I have the latest firmware installed.

To try and fix it, I formatted the drive after downgrading back to Windows 10, but that didn't help either. I'm really out of ideas—does anyone have suggestions for what else I can do? I'm using a Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard with a 500GB SN550 drive.

It’s great that you have AHCI set, but I believe you might need to check if there’s an NVMe setting available in your BIOS. Since your drive is NVMe, it should ideally be set to that, unless it's missing from the options.

How did you manage to format it if the SSD is not detected in Windows 11? Did you switch back to Windows 10 to do that, or did you try it on a different machine? That might help clarify what's going wrong.
