Hey everyone, I'm dealing with some really strange keyboard problems on my PC. It seems like the Windows key is being pressed constantly, almost like it's on auto-pilot, even with the on-screen keyboard! When I plug in an actual keyboard, it starts opening random apps and typing on its own. When I hit the Windows key three times, it sometimes makes the keyboard work partially, usually just the right side. This is happening across all keyboards I connect, including one I tested, which works perfectly on other laptops. I've tried everything: I checked the keyboard layout, ran various scans for corrupt files, did a repair install of Windows, disabled the Windows key in the registry, reset the BIOS, and even ran a malware scan. Despite my efforts, the issue has only gotten worse. I've had this PC since 2021, mainly for gaming on Steam, and I don't have many other programs installed. I'm at a loss trying to figure out if it's a software glitch, a hardware failure, or something with the motherboard. Any insights would really help!

If you've already confirmed that it's not the keyboards (considering they work fine on other devices), and you still have issues even on the startup screen, there's a chance something might be misconfigured in your system. It could point to a hardware problem, possibly with the motherboard, especially since it behaves strangely even without a keyboard connected.
It sounds like a tough situation! Since multiple keyboards are affected, it's likely not the peripherals themselves. Have you tried using the keyboard on different surfaces, like a book or a different desk? Sometimes the setup can cause issues. If that's ruled out, then it's probably a software issue that needs looking into.
