Whenever we need to onboard new vendor systems, I create standardized toolkits for my admin teams. Vendors often provide credentials in weird formats for their APIs, and using ChatGPT has saved me a ton of time by assisting with the formatting rather than digging through documentation and doing trial and error.
Think of AI like a supercharged Google; it’s your assistant ready to help out. It really streamlines the process of getting answers without all the extra noise.
My team has been using AI to generate automation scripts across bash, Python, and PowerShell, and we’ve been getting some pretty impressive results. Even older scripts that we run through Claude or ChatGPT come back much improved with better parameter checks and performance tweaks.
