What AI Tools Help You Stay Productive at Work?

Right now, I'm using Copilot along with Claude. Most of the time, it does the job for me pretty well.

My go-to is definitely Claude Code for development work, and I use ChatGPT for more general questions and assistance.

I rely on Copilot for the little things and Claude for the more significant tasks like critiques and implementation plans. When I'm diving into a new programming language, I always keep a chat open for questions. Although, I turned off auto-complete because I found I was correcting it more often than not.

In my daily workflow, I depend heavily on AI meeting tools to stay organized and keep clarity on tasks. Notion AI and Fireflies are fantastic for auto-summaries and extracting action items. For code quality, GitHub Copilot and Codeium really help streamline reviews and refactoring. Plus, during client meetings, LockedIn AI provides real-time support, which helps me focus better.

Honestly, I don’t use any AI tools for serious work, but I find them amusing for fun experiments. It's hilarious to see when they hallucinate and then try to convince them they're wrong! For serious coding, I feel like I end up rewriting everything, so it's not worth it. But I must admit, it can spark some decent ideas when you just play around.

Cursor has been a solid choice for me. The autocomplete feels much more context-aware compared to Copilot, and it catches bugs before they arise. I also use ChatGPT to explain legacy code when I'm dealing with older codebases—it saves me hours of deciphering complicated logic.
