What Are Good GPU Options Without DLSS?

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a modern GPU that performs well in gaming without needing DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling). I have a personal preference against using DLSS because I think it compromises the image quality. I've been considering the TITAN RTX, believing it can handle most games at ultra settings. What do you all think?

Why go for an older card like the TITAN RTX when you could get something like the 4060? It's mostly outclassed by newer models, and it’s more cost-effective. What's your budget looking like? There are definitely better options out there!

My budget is around €3k-3.5k for the GPU only, not including a monitor.

If you're aiming for top-notch performance without DLSS, the 5090 is a great choice. I run Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p max settings with a Ti Super and get a smooth 60 FPS without any fancy upscaling, which is pretty impressive given its age. Just be aware that modern AAA titles generally require some form of optimization to run smoothly at high settings.

So I'm kinda stuck with upscaling then, huh? I have a 2070 Super and it ghosts like crazy with DLSS on performance mode. Do newer GPUs handle this better?

What resolution and frame rate are you targeting? The TITAN RTX is comparable to the RTX 5060 Ti, which may struggle with high-res gaming in newer titles. I'd suggest getting the fastest GPU you can afford, and if possible, avoid turning on DLSS.

Honestly, consider a 5090 or a 5070 Ti. The TITAN is outdated by now; cards like the 3090 and 4090 have taken over its spot. If you want to game at 4K smoothly, the 5070 Ti will do the trick, but even then, you might need DLSS for some demanding games.

I'm really frustrated with the ghosting and artifacts from my 2070 Super. Is there really no way to get a GPU that has enough VRAM to avoid these issues? I haven't built a PC since 2020.
