Hey everyone! I've been dealing with essential tremors, which means my hands shake quite a bit. I work as a CPA and am also really into gaming, so I spend a lot of time at my desk. Unfortunately, my current mouse, the Glorious Model D2, just isn't cutting it anymore. I need something with more weight or drag to help manage my shaking movements better.
Some things that have been frustrating with the D2 include its very lightweight design (only 66g), which makes it hard to control. I also can't disassemble it for cleaning, and the holes in the design make it permanently dirty no matter how much I try to clean it. Plus, it's too long for my hands, constantly hitting my wrist rest, and it doesn't have enough buttons—just two! On days when my tremors are really bad, extra buttons would make a world of difference.
Do you have any mouse recommendations that could help me out? Thanks a ton!

If you're looking for something ergonomic, the Logitech G502X is a popular choice. I know it’s not everyone's favorite because it can be a bit heavy, but it does meet most of your requirements. Just be prepared for lots of G502 suggestions!
I’ve been using the Logitech MX series forever, and I really love them. It might not help as much since my shaking is mostly in my left hand, but they've always been reliable for me!
If you want something a bit different, the Lamzu Maya X is definitely worth a look. Great feel and precision!
Check out the Razer Naga Pro! It’s a palm grip style mouse and weighs 134g. Plus, it has interchangeable side buttons which can be anywhere from 2 to 12, depending on what you need!
Have you thought about trying a trackball mouse? The M575S is a good example. You control the cursor with your thumb, so it takes away the need for arm movement. This might help a lot since it eliminates the tremor issue—definitely worth a try!
Totally agree! My boyfriend had a similar issue and using a trackball improved his accuracy significantly!

Yeah, the weight could be an issue for some, but a lot of people swear by it! It’s about 120g before adding any weights.
