What are some budget-friendly alternatives to ThousandEyes for monitoring app performance?

I'm looking for affordable alternatives to Cisco ThousandEyes. I need a solution that can help monitor the performance of applications like Salesforce and Office 365, especially for remote users. It's important for us to have proactive reporting to easily distinguish if any issues are due to the SaaS provider or related to our internet/network. I was considering PRTG as a potential option, but I'm open to other suggestions!

Have you looked into ControlUp Dex? We switched to that instead of ThousandEyes for a bunch of reasons. You might find it aligns better with your needs!

What features did you find better in ControlUp? We're currently trying out ThousandEyes, but we're not that impressed with it. There are some pretty basic things missing that should be easy to see, like driver and firmware details for devices.

I honestly haven't seen many SMBs that really benefit from ThousandEyes. If there's an issue with a SaaS app, what are you planning to do with that information? It seems like it wouldn’t change much at the end of the day.
