I'm having some trouble with my GPU temperature while gaming. It runs at around 80 degrees Celsius, and I suspect my fan setup isn't ideal. Given that my GPU is a 2070 and almost 8 years old, could replacing the thermal paste help? I'm fairly new to all this and looking for advice on cooling solutions.

Boosting airflow in your PC case and possibly repasting your GPU could help. Just keep in mind, repasting is trickier than CPU repasting. I'd recommend finding some good tutorials specific to your model before diving in. Your 2070 can handle temperatures up to 89 degrees, so as long as you're not hitting that, you're generally okay.
80 degrees is pretty normal for your card. You could tweak your fan curve to help cool it down more. Also, double-check your case airflow—it plays a big role in keeping your GPU cool.
I'd suggest repasting the GPU and optimizing your fan setup for better airflow. If your case allows, consider adding some fans below the GPU for extra cooling. You can find PCIe fan mounts on sites like Amazon if your case doesn't support it.
