I recently upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a 5700X and I'm still using the stock cooler. While the stock cooler was fine for the 3600, the 5700X makes my entire system quite hot! I'm looking for a reliable CPU air cooler that fits within the $20-35 range. I've seen prices for something like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin at around $63 where I live, so that's not an option. Any recommendations?

The ID-Cooling 214XT is a fantastic cooler and often cheaper than the Peerless Assassin. There’s also a single tower version of the Thermalright Assassin that could be an alternative.
You might want to check out some options from Thermalright. They have quite a few coolers in that price range. Just be careful with prices, as they can vary a lot depending on where you are.
I found the Thermalright Assassin Spirit 120 V2 Plus for about $22! Seems like a solid choice for your setup.

I saw the Thermalright Assassin X 120R SE V2 for around $28, which could fit your budget perfectly!
