I'm looking for suggestions for a Linux ISO that is less than 2.08GB because I have a small pendrive with important files on it. Are there any modern Debian-based distros that fit this size requirement?

Bodhi and antiX are also solid choices if you need something small. Also, nearly any netinstall version of Linux should work with regular WiFi or LAN.
If you're into network installations, Ubuntu has a minimal ISO that's around 94MB. You can find that here: cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-mini-iso/noble/daily-live/current/!
Just a heads up: when you write an ISO to a USB drive, it will erase all the data that's currently on it!
Debian has a great option called 'netinst' which is under 1GB. It's primarily for installing Debian while connected to the internet, as it downloads the rest of the packages you need during installation.
Check out antiX. It’s lightweight and works great on older hardware.
