I've been using Lens for my Kubernetes management, but it seems to use a lot of system resources, and I'm looking for alternatives. I'm curious about what Kubernetes IDEs you all prefer and why they stand out for you.

As many here have mentioned, K9s really shines when it comes to performance. I've tried a bunch of options, but K9s combined with kubectl has been unbeatable for speed and flexibility. For something web-based, check out Headlamp, which can also run in your cluster!

I've been using K9s for a couple of years now, and I find it really fast and efficient. I did try Headlamp briefly, but K9s just lets me navigate so much quicker. If you're looking for something light, definitely give K9s a shot!

Honestly, I just stick with kubectl. I know it doesn't come with a fancy interface, but it’s reliable, and once you get the hang of it, it can be pretty powerful. Sometimes simplicity is key!

The Kubernetes extension for VS Code is another solid choice. It keeps everything within the editor, so there's less of a context-switching hassle. If you work a lot in VS Code, it could be a good fit for you!

Aptakube is my favorite, though it's not free. The developer is super responsive, and it has some unique features. Just keep in mind you might have to spend a bit to get it!
