I'm exploring some alternatives to VMware and currently looking at Proxmox, Verge, and Scale Computing. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with these options? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Why not just stick with Hyper-V? If you already have the licensing, it's a straightforward choice. Plus, it integrates well in Windows environments.
Avoid Scale Computing, it's super overpriced and the hardware is underwhelming. You have to buy their specific hardware, so no option for something like an Intel NUC.
Nutanix could be an option, but it has its quirks. It’s not the most mature product and can be pricey, plus you sometimes run into issues like not being able to edit network settings on the fly.
I really recommend Proxmox! I've used it for everything from my homelab to running crypto exchange clusters. It's versatile and user-friendly, can't recommend it enough.
Yeah, I think some features can be buggy occasionally, but it’s generally pretty stable for most users.
The usual go-tos are Proxmox and XCP-NG; they’re pretty solid choices. A lot of users have had good success with both, especially Proxmox for labs and small deployments.

What about any bugs? I’ve heard some people mention issues.
