I'm looking for Android emulators that work well on Linux. I tried installing Waydroid, but I ran into some issues. Are there any alternatives? Would a Windows emulator work if I tried running it with Wine? I'm using Endeavour OS, and I'd appreciate any suggestions!

Waydroid is actually the only up-to-date emulator for Linux, but it seems like you're having some trouble with it. Running Windows-based emulators might not work because they often rely on hardware virtualization, which Wine doesn't support. One option could be to run an Android x86 image on a virtual machine instead.
Waydroid works great for me! But if you're still having problems, you could consider using QEMU with Android x86. Just keep in mind that it won't perform as well as Waydroid.
What exactly was the problem you faced with Waydroid? If it’s about dependencies, that can often be tricky. I'd like to help if I could! But as for alternatives, keep an eye on how well Android x86 performs compared to Waydroid.
