What Are the Best Apps for Learning Coding Offline?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for recommendations on the best apps or resources to learn coding without needing any cell reception. My daily commute mostly takes me underground, and I also enjoy watching anime during that time. I'm eager to dive into some coding, and I'm also interested in communication skills too. It would be awesome to find an app that's either free or paid, but can function offline. Any suggestions?

Mobile apps often don't cover coding comprehensively. You’ll need videos and practical exercises that you can download in advance. It's more about understanding how code functions rather than just writing it all out. So look for downloadable resources that offer structured lessons without needing to stay online. Good luck on your coding journey!

Instead of an app, have you thought about picking up some books? A lot of us over 50 learned coding that way. Try finding a book on your desired programming language, and set up a local development environment on your laptop. For iOS, I'd recommend Apple's AP Computer Science book and their Swift book, which someone has made available in PDF form. It's a solid way to start!

You might want to check out Udemy! They allow downloading some of their courses for offline viewing, so even if you're underground, you can still learn some coding basics.

If you have a decent laptop, consider downloading a deep learning model tailored for coding. It can assist you in learning coding concepts—just make sure to clarify that you want to understand the problems rather than just getting answers. That way, you can really grasp the content!
