I'm looking for recommendations on the best free programming courses out there. It doesn't matter if they cover programming fundamentals, Object Oriented Programming, or any particular programming language. I'm interested in 100% free courses that don't have any hidden fees or strings attached. What have you guys enjoyed?

While not strictly a course, I highly recommend checking out the free e-book by Rob Miles. It's packed with great content and you can find it at robmiles.com/c-yellow-book.

If you haven't looked at the University of Helsinki's MOOCs, definitely check out mooc.fi. They've got some solid free courses available.

I found this course on Coursera about programming languages. It teaches the concepts you need to understand how different programming languages fit together, making learning new languages a lot easier.

You've got to try CS50x from Harvard! It’s an amazing introduction to computer science and programming.
