I'm in a bit of a bind as I require desk phones for over 100 people at my workplace. Sadly, about 1% of my colleagues can manage a soft phone reliably, so traditional desk phones are a must for us. I'm looking for a hosted VoIP solution that allows me to rent these phones to avoid a hefty upfront cost when switching vendors. Currently, I'm not too impressed with RingCentral, having only one facility using it while the rest rely on outdated on-premise PBXs, some even running on POTS lines. Most of our desk phones are Mitel, and I'm hoping for some recommendations that could simplify our transition.

We've had a good experience with GoTo Connect. We checked out RingCentral and Vonage, but after nearly two years with GoTo, we’re satisfied. They've added new features like AI receptionist since we signed up. We used a solution provider for sales and support, and I think that's the way to go.
Are you located in the eastern US? You might want to explore Lightpath's service area. We use their hosted voice solution with Polycom phones, and they handle all the server management while renting the phones to us. It turned out to be the most budget-friendly option at the time.
When we were looking for hosted VoIP options, VirtualPBX caught my eye. I really liked their service and often wish we had chosen them over Office@Hand (RingCentral). One downside to RingCentral, though: be prepared for relentless emails and calls after a demo.
If your company is using Microsoft 365, you might want to check out Teams Calling. There are some desk phones that work seamlessly with it. Also, Cisco Webex offers solid cloud calling options with physical desk phone support, which could be a good fit for your needs.
