I'm looking to revive an old Intel laptop and want to use it for casual tasks without too much worry. It's a 32-bit machine, and I really need it to run Gnucash and Gramps. Can anyone recommend a good Linux distro that still supports 32-bit systems?

Don’t forget about Damn Small Linux (DSL), Tiny Core, and Puppy Linux! These are all solid options too, especially if you're dealing with older hardware.
You might want to check out AntiX Linux or Q4OS Linux with the Trinity desktop environment. I've had great experiences using those on older hardware. They run smoothly and really cater well to low-resource machines.
How about Slax? It's lightweight and works nicely on 32-bit systems. I've had no issues with it.
