I'm thinking about making the switch to Linux due to growing concerns about spyware in Windows and Google products. I'm particularly interested in gaming and want a distribution that works well with Nvidia graphics cards right out of the box. What would you recommend as a good starting point for a smooth gaming experience?

Bazzite and Cachy are great for gaming! I’ve been using CachyOS myself, and with the huge Arch user base, troubleshooting any issues is pretty straightforward. Bazzite has also been solid for me over the years, with most of the earlier streaming hiccups now resolved.

Totally agree! Bazzite has been my go-to for 4 years now, and I’ve seen it improve a lot, especially for streaming. I’ve read good things about Cachy too.
