Hey everyone!
I'm looking for some solid resources or courses to get a better grasp of how Active Directory works and how to manage it effectively. My background is mainly in EntraID, but my boss has recently asked me to dive into AD during my free time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!

For a deep dive, look into John Savill's Technical Training specifically on Active Directory Domain Services. He provides a great in-depth understanding.
You should definitely check out the training material for the 70-742 exam. Although that exam has been retired, the content is still quite relevant, especially for understanding identity management and Active Directory on Server 2016.
Another fantastic resource is 'Active Directory Management in a Month of Lunches.' It offers a hands-on approach, and you'll want to set up a VM to practice along with the material.
The AZ-800 course is also a good option if you're looking to learn about Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS). It's comprehensive and covers the essentials.
Check out this learning path I created for Active Directory for Entra ID Administrators. It has an integrated AI tutor to help you along the way. I'd love to hear your feedback if you try it out!
