Hey everyone! I'm looking to build my first gaming PC and want to achieve 144Hz at 1440p resolution. I'm not super tech-savvy and I'm finding some GPUs recommended on Tom's Hardware to be quite pricey for that kind of performance. Am I on the right track here? I'd love to hear any recommendations you have for graphics cards, and I'd appreciate suggestions for other components too, although my main focus is on the GPU. I'm planning to play games like Siege, Battlefield 6, and FC26.

You definitely want a solid GPU for 144Hz at 1440p. I’m using a 4070ti with a Ryzen 7 5800x and it runs most games at around 165fps with max settings. Just keep in mind that demanding games like Cyberpunk can dip during intense action, but lowering settings like shadow quality can help maintain that high framerate. Also, League of Legends runs like a dream with this setup!

Thanks for sharing your experience! What made you choose those specific components?
