Hey everyone! My current TV seems to be fading; the colors are really dull, especially pink, which looks all grey/blue. I've tinkered with the settings but nothing helps. I mainly use my TV for gaming, so I'm searching for recommendations on the best TVs available at the moment. I've heard good things about OLED but would love to hear specific suggestions!

Before anyone throws out recommendations, what's your budget and the size you're looking for? 'Best' is pretty subjective depending on what you're willing to spend!

I just picked up a Sony Bravia XR and it's been great for gaming! Make sure to look for a TV with at least a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 support for the best performance. If you're gaming in a dark room, OLED is fantastic. But if your setup has a lot of light, consider going with Mini LED or QLED. The Samsung S90D series is top-notch if you're willing to spend a bit more. Other good choices are the Sony Bravia XR, LG C4, and surprisingly, the Hisense Canvas TV if you're looking for something a bit unique. Don't forget to check for features like ALLM for low latency, HDR for better brightness, and VRR to avoid frame tearing!

Thanks for the info! What PS5 features do you like about your TV? Should I focus on Xbox compatibility instead?

So are there specific features to really look out for? Appreciate the tips!

I've got two smart TVs in my basement, one Samsung and one LG. Honestly, the smart features on the Samsung really disappoint. The user experience is just clunky and slow compared to the LG, which operates much smoother. If you're thinking about an external streaming device, the Samsung might work, but I wouldn’t rely on its built-in features for a good experience.
