I'm looking to upgrade my current PC setup and I'm wondering what my options are based on my existing build. I have an AMD Ryzen 5 5600XT processor, a B550 motherboard, 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, a 2 TB NVMe SSD, and a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. I'm not sure if I should consider going for a new CPU or possibly a new motherboard. How can I ensure my rig lasts for the next 5 years, especially since I mainly play games like Street Fighter 6 and other casual games?

If you can find a 5700X3D or 5800X3D at a good price, those could be solid upgrades. But really, moving to the AM5 platform seems like the only long-term path. If you're okay with your current performance, you might not need the upgrade right now, though!

Thanks for the insights! I'm leaning toward skipping AM5 for now. Do you think my current setup can last me about 5 years?
