What Are the Best Upgrades for My Old PC?

I'm looking to upgrade my PC since I haven't used it in years, and I feel a bit lost on where to start. I'm not very tech-savvy, but I suspect it's time to upgrade my motherboard since it's around 10 years old. My RAM is also pretty limited, but I've heard that prices for RAM are sky-high right now. Here's my current build:

* **GPU -** nvidia MSI GTX 1660 super 6GB GDDR6
* **CPU -** Intel Core i5-3570K
* **RAM -** Kingston 8GB DDR3
* **Motherboard -** ASRock Z77 Extreme 4
* **PSU -** Hipro 700W HP-W700WC3

Any advice on what would make the biggest difference would be greatly appreciated!

If you're looking to upgrade, I definitely recommend changing your motherboard and RAM, especially if you're planning on getting a new CPU. Upgrading just the motherboard to one that supports your current CPU isn't really worth it because those are still quite old. You'll just hit the same bottleneck again.

That makes sense! Do you think I should prioritize upgrading my CPU over the RAM, or is the RAM the more urgent issue?
