What are the Best VM Backup Solutions for Under 10TB?

I'm on the hunt for a VM backup solution that can handle less than 10TB of data across both Hyper-V and VMware hosts. Ideally, I want something that's straightforward to set up and maintain. While having local backups is a bonus, it's not a necessity. Continuously, I need off-site backup options that don't come with additional management hassles or surprise bills.

I've been checking out Druva, which seems super easy to use with minimal setup. Veeam has been good for me too, especially since I've set it up with cloud storage before, but I'm feeling a bit lost in their current offerings. Commvault feels like overkill at times, but maybe they have a new solution? Some major providers I've approached have tried to quote me out of the running.

What options are out there? And has anyone had experience with Druva recently? I've come across mixed reviews but not much in the way of details.

N-able Cove has been a game changer for me! I switched over for 2000 servers in just about three months. It drastically increased our income while cutting down on noise—definitely worth checking out! You can find out more on their website: www.n-able.com/products/cove-data-protection.

You might want to explore Acronis Cyber Protect or Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud through our MSP partners. Both options support your requirements with local and direct backup capabilities, and the flexible licensing on the cloud version might save you some cash.

Have a look at Metallic.io, which is Commvault's cloud SaaS offering. It can handle everything you need quite effectively.

If you're looking for a straightforward and flexible option, N-able Cove Data Protection is fantastic! It's cloud-first, so off-site storage is included, which means no extra cloud accounts or surprise costs. It's easy to manage and works well with both Hyper-V and VMware. If you liked Druva for its simplicity, Cove offers a similar experience with added flexibility for mixed environments.

Commvault Metallic is another solid option. It's their SaaS version, which means it's pretty low maintenance—things like management and agent updates happen automatically. You can also get managed off-site storage through them, though be aware that could cost more than using your own options.
